Education heals when it honors experience, culture, and community

At Voces de Vida, we collaborate with agencies and organizations to offer customized workshops and trainings designed to respond to the real needs of the communities they serve. Our work is grounded in trauma‑informed care, cultural humility, and knowledge that emerges from the community.

All trainings are developed collaboratively using the popular education model, which prioritizes participation, dialogue, and lived experience. Our workshops go beyond information‑sharing and promote reflection, skill‑building, and practical application in real‑world contexts.

We offer trainings in English, Spanish, or bilingual formats, with specialized experience supporting bilingual and bicultural teams in mental health, community health, education, and civil society organizations. Topics may include mental health, trauma, cultural identity, language access, spirituality, and culturally responsive and decolonizing approaches to care.

Some trainings or workshops are eligible for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in the state of New Mexico.

Voces de Vida: Counseling, Coaching & Consulting Services is an approved CEU provider through:

• The New Mexico Counseling and Therapy Practice Board
• The New Mexico Credentialing Board for Behavioral Health Professionals (NMCBBHP)

CEU availability, requirements, and approval details are shared during the consultation and contracting process.
